• Multiple mis hung (A35 on Pi)

    From bcw142@21:1/145 to G00r00 on Wednesday, November 08, 2017 05:07:57
Last night the hackers were at is again and left three mis hung on the Pi. Again, kill stopped only one task and the other two needed kill -9. After shutting them all down I started mis in daemon mode and was able to login
(mis is doing login). I did see this in the mis.log:
Nov 07 08:17:27 MIS startup complete <- when I restated last night
Nov 07 22:50:21 MIS received SIGTERM; shutting down <- mystery hackers
Nov 08 03:21:16 MIS received SIGTERM; shutting down <- mystery hackers
Nov 08 04:16:52 MIS received SIGTERM; shutting down <- kill hung mis
Nov 08 04:16:57 MIS shutdown complete <- kill -9 other hung mis (2 of them)
Nov 08 04:19:30 MIS startup complete <- normal 'sudo mis -d'

There is no script to cause mis to restart, I don't know what the hackers
are doing to cause it. I put mis2 back to handle telnet. I only dropped
mis2 on telnet because of the problems yesterday while trying to make it
work. This as you see by the tag is A35 since I have nothing else to run
on the Pi. We'll see what happens the rest of the week (telnet on mis2).
