• Outbound Netmail errors

    Hello,

I am having problem sending AreaFix netmails to my FidoNet provider. The provider is showing that they are not receiving any netmails from me. I am receiving their regular fidonet status reports through netmail.

I looked at my mailout log file and pasted what I found at the following url: https://paste2.org/WWMeBd6L

The first concern I have is the line:
ERROR: Unable to find echonode 0 while bundling

In the configuration, There is no echonode 0 - the echo nodes start with 1.

Also I recently upgraded Mystic to A35 from A31 - I am assuming that the log entries which show A31 are not something to worry about?

Thank you for any insight anyone might have on this.

This is most commonly from a stuck file and if your having problems with netmail out then check your echomail/out/ directories for a stuck file or something like *.bsy. First to check is echomail/out/fidonet/*.pnt directory. Sometimes it's just stuff stuck in the temp* directories. You might look to
see if there's a fidonet.bsy in your semaphores directory as well. There's
some condition that seems to cause stuck *.bsy files that you end up deleting to get things unstuck.

In your Mystic message base settings for your Netmail area. Do you have have a echonode set to be exported to? For my Netmail area in Mystic I have it to not
export an echonode and the outgoing netmail's are exported and received ok.
