For those doing this, I assume your "Mystic Hub" is a different node number than the BBS. Basically running two instances using different ports?
I'm thinking about experimenting with seeing what Mystic as a hub would
do if I copied my *.MSG and *.PKT files generated from WWIVToss.

Generally we run points, so the hub is the published node (21:1/145 in my case) and the others are points off it (21:1/145.1). We aren't running two instances on one system, there's two systems.
I think the *.MSG will work (JAM), not sure about *.PKT are they part of
the JAM standard?
I am curious as to how many people run Mystic as a hub, where they are feeding >other systems in multiple networks?if I
I know Avon has been doing this since day one with Fsxnet.

Not sure, but based on google info, they are Binkly/FLO style. When I post messages on the WWIV side of things, WWIVTOSS will create *.PKT
files for echomail and *.MSG for netmail. I can have these files saved where I want - for processing. Currently, that is D'Bridge which reads them and sends them on their way.
Anything JAM will work, not so sure about Binkly/FLO, but I think FLO is part of it. I think Binkly/FLO came first as early FIDONET, then JAM came later in 1993. So JAM may include Binkly/FLO I don't know. The message
bases live in
/mystic/msgs everything in there is JAM. They are sent and received in echomail/in & echomail/out/fidonet (for main).

In my case I run two versions of MIS and each is using a different BinkP port for traffic. The 1/100 HUB does not run Telnet etc.. just BinkP where as the 1/101 BBS (Agency) does.
*.PKT files would be fine. I don't think Mystic will import *.MSG files so you might need to convert them?
Thanks for the info. I'm going to have to tinker with things at some point when my other assorted projects around the house and vehicle
repairs are all complete. :)
Is that code for 'things I would like to do but my wife/partner has an
even bigger list for me that I need to do first!' :)
But in all seriousness sing out if/when you do start to tinker with it and I'd be happy to support you.
