When the indexing gets off and there are duplicates the mbbsutil -fixindex is run to fix it. Some users seem to end of with 0 time left today and/or all message are new. I noticed it worse on Linux (x86 & Pi), but it happens even
on Windows 10. Upgrades are one of the causes of the index issue I believe. I moved x86 Linux systems and Windows 10 systems to newest A35 and had the problem on all of them. It also occurred on my main bbs (Pi) even though I didn't upgrade, but I did have duplicate indexes and did fixindex. That may have been left since the last upgrade to A33.

Before my system went down I did notice A35 has a new user bug.

+ STARTUP.MPS now allows a "UserLoginNew" boolean variable to be set which
will push to the new user application when TRUE. This allows MPL to
completely replace the user login/new user processes if desired. All MPL
programs will need to be recompiled in this alpha.

I believe the UserLoginNew is always set on true, found that new accounts created even if they are not done are saved to the users.dat file.

This is not the case with A34 but just with A35. Been wondering if anyone
    else had noticed this.

    Cheers!

This isn't a bug its a change to STARTUP.MPS. It is unrelated to anything you're mentioning about new users. The new user bug from A35 test has been fixed.
