  • fidopoll - Invalid Data Frame

    I'm having an issue polling my fidonet Hub. I've seen a few messages
    regarding this, but I could not seem to find the solution mentioned.
    I only seem to have an issue with the fidonet node. FsXNet and the others poll just fine.

    excerpt from fidopoll.log
    Mar 09 20:20:35 Authorization State: 5 HH:0 NH:1
    Mar 09 20:20:35 Invalid data frame
    Mar 09 20:20:35 Recv: Data 1/36
    Mar 09 20:20:35 Remote disconnect
    Mar 09 20:20:35 Authorization failed

    I'm running 1.12 A33.

    If you need another feed, let me know. I have a mystic bbs- datacenter hosted feed, direct from Janis dedicated to feeding Fido.

    I'd be happy to set you up a node connection.

    Thanks Nugax. It's all set now. After going back and forth a few times making sure passwords and settings on my side were correct. The issue cleared up.
    I'm not sure what was corrected, but I'm interested to know, just for my own curiosity.
    I have a feeling it was permission or password related. As the connection
    would be made then the password was submitted and the connection would disconnect.
