    Hi G00r00,

    I went to change my File Base using config Editor and it was empty. File size was 0. Have you worked on anything that updates this file recently? I have not touched it since the 15th (actually long before that) when I last did monthly backups. I found a good copy in the 15th backup. The only thing I did was upgrade to A34 in that time frame (15th to today). Will watch in case it happens again. :) FYI this is all happening using the Win32 version.

    Ouch, no I haven't done anything that I would think could do that. Are you using WinXP by chance?

    There is some old bad code left over from the 90s during startup that isn't as smart as it should be when trying to "open/create" a few of the data files. I've just put in a little extra security in that area when working with fbases.dat. I am sorry this happened :(

    Yes :( WinXP SP3 fully updated.

    No problem, I had a good backup this time. :) Mutil kicked out an inbound hatched file so I knew something was wrong {chuckle} and went to check! Thanks for the code {chuckle}
