I think your need to use Allfix will be negated as and when g00r00 finishes off the hatching code and any file announcement templates that come with it etc. Heck Jeff has a really nice util now that handles that bit :)

It seems to me Allfix development has stalled for quite some time now.

i have heard about that and thank you for it. i think if they add mystic to the list it is long over due since most of the software they support are no longer being developed. i think it would help more development on the mystic core. ;)

I was not aware that Allfix was in active development anymore.

He updated his allfix.com webpage about 5 or 6 years ago saying that a 32-bit/64-bit version was being worked on. But nothing has come from him about it since then. He dodges making any replies when ever anyone ask about it. Beside ALLFIX he also payed for the rights of Gecho/32 around the same time.. the http://www.allfix.com shows Support is available via the Fidonet ALLFIX_HELP echo. I've personlly still use ALLFIX for DOS, 5.13 because the newer 6.xx version appears to be unstable (here anyway) and has crashed after testing it several times. About the only reason I'm still using allfix with mystic.. is that mystic must relay on a InBounD tic in order to modify it own tic when processing the filebone. I look forward to your updates on this in the

future. I'm also very glad you have returned to the scene again.

I requested James and Harald Harms (the origmal programmer) of allfix to connect about adding Mystic support to allfix back in the late 90's this was in the manual info for the software back then.. You can see why Seaborn payed for the rights from Harns (most of had deep pockets) money. $

Registered users have the privilege of applying for a position on the official beta team. The beta team is managed by Harald Harms and Bob Seaborn. Anyone interested in applying for the team, should fill out the AFIXBETA.FRM included in the package and contact Harald Harms at 1:140/30 or Bob Seaborn at 1:140/12. Anyway.. it was like $25 to regd.. now it's fee abondware IMO. Even still .. for an old DOS limited to the 8-digit-char it has many options and very powerful software for what it can do when configured correctly.
