1) Besides the IPv6 what else does it do that now doesn't
2) I assume it runs in daemon mode for us Linux folks? -d?
I haven't jumped on mis2 yet.. and before I did I was wondering:

Has everything MIS has except the events, but plus side is SSH and RLOGIN are >also available options for users to connect to the system.
To run daemon can do:
sudo ./mis2 daemon
It uses full commands to see them all just do ./mis2 or sudo ./mis2 to see >the listing available. =)

My only question is:
Besides IPv6 I see no other reason to run mis2. Is that what mis2 was >created? Or is there some other reason?
I don't even have IPv6 addresses yet from my datacenter, so it really does me >no good unless there is other benefits.
I'd probably just wait until mis is removed if there are no additional >features and it doesn't even have events or NNTP.

I guess I'm asking: what's the purpose of mis2?
For us to migrate to and test for g00r00, a step at a time. Besides, everyone knows all the cool kids on the block run MIS2!!!

You don't want to offer SSH or rlogin connections? SSH is particularly >important for some people these days, with its encryption.

Do as we do, run both - MIS2 runs what it supports, MIS for the rest. :)
