If your running Ubuntu 16.04 aviod doing the release upgrade, I just tried it and it killed the system entirely (I'm typing in Windows 10 as I nultiboot), sudo do-release-upgrade
Is something to aviod right now. Both I and Gryphon have had our systems
total messed up by it (the newest 'release'). Looks like I'll have to do a
full reinstall of what I had. In my case I still have a number of multiboot options but it will be sometime before my system is back up and at all normal. The BBS is it's own system so that's fine. It was the 16.04.01 release
upgrade that killed everything. I might yet try a full install from scratch, but I also have my older systems install disk here. Upgrades tend not to work with Ubuntu.
