#2,
The Linux NNTP server seems to crash when you subscript in your client to a >new area, then pull first time. You restart and pull and it seems to work >fine for a pretty long while.
Thanks

This isn't something I can fix; it is pretty common I hear with mobile >networks for someone to do something that gets their IP added to the block >list.
If you want it removed you'd have to create a ticket with your blacklist >service that you are using.
You could also add the IP to the whitelist so that Mystic will always accept >it, even when blocked by DNS blacklists.

Do you have a log you can send over? I think the NNTP logs show the client >server interaction so that I can test.

Add the IP to goodip.txt. That will do.

You should check your logs, but most NNTP clients will send the command
"MODE READER" upon connecting, which by the standards is not mandatory, but >sometimes the server gets a little confused by it. Try also with the client I use, it's called NewsTap.

g00r00,
Can you code something into NNTP servers so that if they get that
command, the server won't crash? Probably can just ignore it.

I use this NNTP client. There are only one or two for iPhones and this
one is easiest...

I have to completely restart the Linux machine to get it to work again.
I use the NewsTap App. Running Mystic A33 on Ubuntu 16.04.
