Silly question... Is your ansichat.ans located in your
c:\Mystic\Text folder (or /mystic/text for Linux/Pi)... ???

modes. One is by pressing ALT-C and the other ALT-S... are these ment to be for Nodespy or something? :? I am confused...
I think its the same in Mystic Pi or Linux. Not sure, I've not run Linux/Pi Mystic in a long time so I can't remember if a connected user
is displayed as an Openable Window or not...

The file is certainly in the folder. This is not the problem. I also made sure that it has the appropriate permissions.
HOWEVER, if in the Windows View window, you press Alt-S, then it will go into Chat using the ansichat.ans file...
The Ansichat.ans file is only displayed if you open the Node being at the bottom of the Windows Screen, Alt-V to View the person connected, then
if you want to Ansi-Chat with them, Press ALT-S in this window...

I don;t think is doable. I tried and didn't find anything. Did someone else succeed to use this screen in Linux/rpi systems?
Yep on a windows system ALT-S calls the split screen chat as per the
above steps and uses ansichat.ans template. The .ans file should reside
in the mystic\text directory.

Nodespy will only invoke the inter-node chat option it seems. Either via the >'user chat' menu option when the sysop selects the node they want to inspect >or by selecting the 'snoop' option and then using ALT-C to invoke the same >inter-node chat system.
