How do I update my A31 install to A33? I've only run the installer and that seems to assume I want a fresh install. I'm afriad to do it on my Linux VM as
I fear it would wipe out my data files. Obviously there's a right way to do
it. Please advise.

this will be showing as coming from A33.

There is documentation in the archive, but the basic process is:

0. Backu your existing syatem!!!

1. install the new version to a fresh directory.

2. Shutdown Mystic

3. Copy the binaries from the new installation to the main one.

4. Make any other changes as per the upgrade documentation.

5. restart Mystic

6. Delete the temporary installation of the new version.

Because I have a low tolerance to fiddly work, I have a script (for BASH on Linux) that does steps 0 - 3, and also disables my auto restart system. I have another script that looks after restarting Mystic and re-enables the auto restart. Step 4 has to be done manually, because that one is highly variable (if required).
