Yes, I've been using it for ages. :)
Agreed... 1/100 HUB for fsxNet is running it also :)Is the BinkD server in MIS2 viable? seems to work just fineunder

{chuckle} The BinkD server was added to MIS2 for the linux versions of 1.12 A33, but not Wins 32-bit. I was asking g00r00 if this was intended.
That does not seem right to me, the BinkD server has been a regular feature of MIS2 for Windows 32 bit versions for a number of alphas.
It's the server I have running for IPv6 although I do not use MIS2 for IPv4, rather leaving that to MIS to take care of for now.

Doesn't show up in mine ...I'm running A33 in Windows 7 32bit and have BINKP in the list under
MIS2 Servers. It's also an option to insert in the / command list.
Yes I fixed it, thanks

Yes, its supposed to be. It needs good testing for reliability as the intention is to get rid of MIS and replace it with MIS2.

If you don't mind a newbie Sysop to chime in, could you give me a
simple rundown on how to configure mis2? when I run mis2.exe server,
it get a message stating that there's no servers configured. How do I
go about doing this?
Hah! I don't know how I missed that on the config side. I suppose that's what I get for being up since 4am for work. :D
Anyways, thanks! You've gotten me to be able to connect to my bbs for the firs time because of this. I was a little suprised you received my
message since my MIS event queue has been keeping my toss incoming and outbound 'waiting'; not sure if that's normal or not.

I have been using MIS2 BinkD for many months now (but only for the IPv6 side of things). On the whole it seems fine. I note the server logging does not seem to update until I close MIS2 then I see it writes some
stuff to the .txt file. The only issue I have noted and not yet pinned down is a file locking thing that happens to some packets in the echomail\in dir that have landed there from a IPv6 node sending them
in. MUTIL then runs the importing of them but can't delete the packet
so that next time it's run it tries to toss them again etc.

Also watch you don't have (let's say) the Telnet server running on MIS
and have the same thing configured and running on the same port on MIS2
