Due to problems encountered with QWK by one of my users and the continuing bug that keeps terminating MIS at random times, I have retro-graded back to A24 (last good version that doesn't terminate!) just FYI

Thanks for the heads up and having a go with it. Do you know how often it was crashing and what was happening when it did? And you were using which version under which version of windows?

I never have been able to spot the source of the shutdowns. It terminates just like you pressed Esc and requested it to, but randomly, 3-4 times a day. It happens on all versions from A25 thru A32 (I tested every one) under a Win XP SP3 VM. James is aware of the problem. :)

OK thanks, I have mine running in a batch file but should add some further logging to spot this. I'm not aware how often I am having issues will do some further work to try and highlight it.

Yes I am aware of it, but I've yet to have it happen to me.

I need to get back on figuring that one out. It seems to happen to some
people but not others. :(

Yes I am aware of it, but I've yet to have it happen to me.

{chuckle} Murphy's law I suppose, anything I can do to help, it's solidly inconsistently consistent here lol. I have a proc that triggers every 5 minutes

and re-starts MIS if down, so looking for something might work here? But what? :-) Wanna take over my system for a day? Just a thought ... I took down A32 but

can re-install anything you like if needed to debug things. :) I have Terabytes

of free drive space so detailed logging is doable as well, at least in the short term.

I also have A32 running on my RPi but it's never done it either lol
