• Ansi Art Gallery - Question

From Solarbaby@21:1/151 to All on Monday, August 01, 2016 04:21:00
I'd like to be able to display a Gallary for Ansi Art that I've Downloaded
from sixteencolors.net. A lot of these are long scrolling ones. Any suggestions or even a url to a already written howto works for me. My Mystic skills are pretty noobs right now so please keep that in mind. Thanks!

There is an Ansi Gallery command, you'll see it in the demo examples that
come with Mystic. On A30 it's under ! Demos Menu as A ANSI Gallery Demo. You use SYSOP Menu to get # fort Menu editor then look at 'demos' menu. It's GA
and Data is the directory to view starting from Mystic root, in the example it's text; I think you can include more than one directory.

I believe that Mystic has a default ANSI viewer in it. When you use that the ANSI will display and you can scroll up and down to get the full picture.

Thank You. I feel a bit mental though. I've gone through the motions and setup a working directory. Maybe the problem is that I'm trying to get into the ansi viewer from the main menu maybe? I did try to use global but that didn't help either. I'm using a custom Ansi for my main menu.. Hmmm Wonder
if that has something to do with it?

Thanks again.. I will keep on trying.

Eventually I'll figure out how to use that default Ansi editor. I'm sure whatever I'm doing wrong is very simple.
    Thanks for the info.

I've got the answer. I forgot to add (!)Demos to my main menu. It wanted
me to enter the demos directory before I could access the Ansi Viewer.

    Thanks Guys!

You're more than welcome. I know that I will eventually use it as soon as I get more ANSI's added. I think that it's pretty straight forward though. Happy to help if you need it, too.
