Might be because you have fsx_mys turn on to allow ansi | yes I say this because when I read your post with mystic it's all shows in plain text, but when i read the same post using GoldEd message reader it is all ANSI codes.

The only fsx areas I have set to allow ansi | yes is FSX_GEN and FSX_BOT. All other area have Allow Ansi | No. Only when I upload a real Ansi file does mystic put the Subj: [ANSI] qwk ;) Hence I was thinking that the 7dream and the 2jack phlash is part of the allow ansi color codes. I'm sure that I could be wrong, but that is what appears to be happening.. from what I've noticed.

Do you mean in the TO and FROM fields? If so, that could be a bug with their QWK reader. IIRC, I think it was bluewave, needed a patch after Y2K. Otherwise, the TO and FROM got corrupted just like that. That may not be the only reader that had such an issue.

I still have the bluewave patch around here somewhere.

I found patched copies of Bluewave with a quick Google search. There's a few BBSs whose web interfaces are indexed by Google.

Then my guess is that it is an unpatched version of BW and not an issue with mystic. :)
