I'm seeing quite a few threads on leaving a fresh BBS install looking stock.
A lot of good posts about this. The PCBoard stock look i like a lot.
Menus with blue background using bright cyan - yellow - bright green are very well done and very retro looking. If i remember right the Iniquity theme out
of the box was pretty good also. Some software packages were so bad you really had to mod them - like stock Tribbs and a few others. If you have favorites that you think look nice enough to keep out of the box feel free to share and why you dig them.
