Another question. This one I had never looked into what possibiliies there might be. Is it possible to use Golded as a standalone message reader/editor with Mystic's jam message base? I have used Golded for many years until I
setup BBBS and now prefer it's HTML msssage editor. I still use Golded on the regional Fido PC. And would like to also use Golded on this Mystic machine
if at all possible.

I do not see why this should not be possible.
AFAIK Mystic uses JAM messagebase without any proprietary shenanigans.

Yup, got Golded to work with Mystic. I wish I could say the same for another BBS package. <g>
