• Zmodem protocol optimizations for Mystic?

    Hi,

I am wondering if there are Zmodem protocol optimizations for Mystic? I tried to upload files in my Gigabit LAN, and it seemed that the transfer was not fast. My BBS uses a Gigabit NIC, I use a Gigabit switch, and I uploaded
from my laptop which uses a Gigabit NIC.

Not really Zmodem8k is the fastest protocol ever used by BBS, guess it might
be time to add ftp/sftp and such.

Do you need to upload them via Zmodem? Or could you drop the files in to the file dirs you have created and then run a mass upload using MUTIL? :)

FTP could be another option for you also..

Thank you for letting me know this. :) I guess I might take the "mutil" solution that Avon mentioned.

I think I'll take the "mutil" path. :) Thanks for sharing this.

No probs... it looked to me like a good way of getting what you wanted set up quickly.
