The default the option in the prelogin menu is MC which scans for local-only messages addressed to you.

You can change this to MN with data reading /P /G /NOFROM /NOREAD it
will scan all bases for new messages to your user in all message bases
and in all groups.

I'm wondering if I can set it to search my local.email and fsxnet.netmail groups only.. and if I add any other message networks, their netmail areas too.. I'm sure theres options available to scan each email/netmail area one
by one, right??

Hmm, you may be able to use MA to change to a netmail area and then use MN to scan for messages omitting the /G parameter to keep it in the same message base. Repeat this for each of your netmail areas.

I haven't tested this, so it may not work as expected.

Thanks for trying to address this; as stated, I hadn't researched it yet... when I do, and implement it, I'll be sure to post a quickee saying how I did so... I bet its very similar to your suggestions.
