• Nodespy , zmodem problem

Hi, i am using Nodespy to telnet to bbses, from a linux terminal. Everything
is fine except that i can't download files. When i initiate a download from
the bbs, nodespy doesn't recognize it.

I tried to open the Transfer window before and after the zmodem init, but no lack. I am sure that an option for AutoZmodem, in a ini file, is enabled.

Has anyone tried it? Maybe i am doing something wrong?

    Thanx.

netrunner needs xwindows and also opens a new window.I prefer to dial from
    the terminal.

I don't know what you could do wrong, it works, I do it all the time. It will work both local and remote. Something has to be wrong with protocols or something that it relies on. I'm using A31 and it's nodespy, it relies on the nodespy.ini, mystic.dat, history.dat, nodespy.phn not sure if it uses protocol.dat, but I know mystic does so I'd guess it's likely. Usual question have you tried synterm or other? Try copying a fresh protocol.dat I think the stuff is built in somewhere, Likely a version of sexyz which is an offshoot
of lrzsz which I used to use with waffle for that (and still exists for
install to Linux). data/protocol.dat is the main protocol setup for mystic and likely nodespy. What's in it can be seen from mystic -cfg there's a protocol editor, but it's never really good to mess with it.
