Nevermind. Answered my question. Apparently PuTTY doesn't play nice with downloading files. (Maybe it does, just don't have the settings set up right.)

That's right, putty is a tty emulation setup for Telnet, SSH, but not BBS.
Best use is to ssh in to another machine (Mystic?) and use that to upload/download. Nodespy does that just fine, SyncTERM as well. It can just
be confusing as to what system the upload/download is from/to. I ssh to my
DMZ machine with the BBS and downloaded stuff there from this AlphaTest .3 system and looked for it on the AlphaTest, but it downloaded to the DMZ machine. DMZ is a system outside the cablemodem's firewall, right on the net. It sits between the net and my internal network running Mystic and I use it
to get to my internal network.
