Just how many door games are there available in MPL or JS as these are
probably the only formats that will run under a 64 bit windows system, unless someone has found a way to port some of the classic DOS door games over to operate under a 64 bit OS.

I have decent luck with my 64 bit linux box using dosemu to run most doors.
It isn't perfect, and it won't do DPMI, but overall it works rather well.
It's probably possible to use Windows 10 64 bit, install linux in WSL, and
use dosemu in there to launch doors...I may experiment with that, actually :)

or maybe DOSbox? I've had nothing but trouble with the WSL so would not trust it for anything that important.

I've had a positive experience but even moreso with wsl2.

Sadly I can't get it working on azure, and I tend to virtualize everything...bummer. :P But wsl1 works fine, so I can mess with that. Dosemu won't build on wsl1, though, so blocked there. Oh well.

That's neither here nor there since I'm running Win10-64, that's why I asked about DOSbox.

You can run WSL2 with dosemu. I have done this. It's much better than dosbox.
