  • Mystic Python crashes when importing PIP packages

    Maybe this has been covered at some point but when I install pacakges using PIP, if I import them inside an MPY script, Mystic crashes with runtime error 217. Any ideas?

    A good example is this:
    import Numpy

    Crash!!!

    If I run the same code from python shell it's fine.

    I'm on Win32, Python 2.7.X

    I got the same thing occasionally. I think I had to rebuild an install of Python 2.7.x in order for everything to work correctly. There's a pretty detailed how-to on the Mystic wiki to do it.

    As far as I can tell, that is a Linux distro issue. I'm not sure why it would happen in Windows. Maybe I'll attempt to build it on W32 and see if it works.
    I removed Numpy and a few of my other PIP packages started working. I chased down they were referencing Numpy if installed. So weird.
