• MIS & MIS2

Say if I want to have mystic answer telnet calls on two different ports, can I have MIS answer on one port and MIS2 answer on another? Is that going to
    cause any problems?

Looks like I can just add a second telnet port in MIS2 and it'll answer on both. MIS & MIS2 at the same time doesn't look like a good idea. I tried it and got logged onto node 1 twice.

Hmm, if you have issues, simply define both ports in MIS2 then and drop telnet from MIS. MIS2 allows you to define as many ports per protocol as you want.

It shouldn't be the same node1, should be node1 mis and node1 mis2 and they aren't the same port or real system node. That could be changed so it states
it differently, but I believe there can be many 'node1', one for each server. g00r00 could change how it states that so that each has unique node numbers, but that's not the default. It might be changed by using the built in Linux/Windows telnet, but not sure. Not sure how that works with doors though as it would report node1 on both servers to the door I think. So that would
be a bug. The doors would need to know about node and server to make it
    unique.

No, should be fine. You can create multiple entries for telnet ports in MIS2 whereas on MIS it's only one server and one port you can nominate. Just so
long as both MIS and MIS2 are not being tasked with trying to access the same port!

MIS2 is still under development so buyer beware but it runs fairly well as
far as I can tell. You need MIS running for the events system if that's something you want to use, and 9/10 times you will want that service to be running to handle incoming/outgoing traffic and MUTIL automation using semaphores etc.

Hello all, I am almost sure this question has been asked before but I may
    have missed it :)

In Mystic config under internet server option the is a filed named
"INTERFACE" what should I put there? And in MIS2 what should I use for IPV4 and IPV6 adapter? Thanks.

The best option is to use 0.0.0.0 in IPv4 and :: in IPv6 which will ensure Mystic can bind to any adapter

I had set the interface to my internal ip address. It seems to work here.

So far, I haven't messed with MIS2 yet, so I can't help with that one.

Great, that's the way it is now. I was just not sure. Thanks Avon.

That's for Windows. For Linux, you have to disable IPv4 and set IPv6 to ::, the kernel will do the rest. :)
