• ANSI Art Gallery - simulated baud rate.

    From Weatherman@21:1/170 to All on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 15:29:00
    Just checking in to see if anyone has since found a way (other than editing each ANSI) to simulate a slower baud rate in Mystic's ANSI Art Gallery?

    From what I understand, this used to work in the older versions and might
    have been disabled on the latest build.

    Just wanted to check back to see if that is in fact the case.

    Thanks.

    Isn't there an ansi code for playback speed? have a check into it

    There's a MCI code from memory... I'll check later when I am in front of my docs..

    Yes, I think g00r00 was using timing loops so faster systems weren't working. It does work with the GD command, but not the Gallery.
    (GD) Display a file @2400@end@2ndChoiceCore.ans
    as an example (2ndChoiceCore.ans is in text). Full path can be used for files.

    Yes there was, but it was disabled. I think g00r00 was having trouble because it was delay loop based and faster processors got through the loop too fast. The GD command has one that does work, but not the Gallery. for GD data is like:
    @2400@end@File.ans
    where File.ans is in text. You can also do path/file with the full path.
