It freed up over 2G of room when I did that. We might look for other programs that serve no purpose, but these were the biggest two.
I ran out of room on my old 16GB card on my old Mystic Pi BBS and
started cleaning it up and realized I had two large programs of little use: wolfram and libreoffice. If you use libreoffice for Documents
when it would be OK to keep. If your just running a BBS (especially remotely) then these programs serve no purpose for the BBS and are
best deleted as they won't be run. The normal way to delete them is in
a shell:
