• IPv6?

    Hello Paul,

Is ipv6.agency.bbs.geek.nz:24556 a IPv6 only connection? I ask because BBBS fails to connect via IPv6. BBBS can connect fine via IPv4 to ipv4.agency.bbs.geek.nz. It looks to be a BBBS issue as I have BinkD installed
alongside BBBS on a different port and BinkD seems to connect to ipv6.agency.bbs.geek.nz fine:

    Yep. Paul maintains 3 addresses:

    ipv6.agency.bbs.geek.nz - IPv6 only
    ipv4.agency.bbs.geek.nz - IPv4 only
    agency.bbs.geek.nz - IPv4 and IPv6

Now that Paul has binkp on both IPv4 and IPv6, I use agency.bbs.geek.nz:24556 in my binkd configuration for the FSX hub. Previously, I was using the ipv4 address to avoid binkd waiting for IPv6 to not work, before connecting with ipv4.

I've also made the change on my Mystic system, though fidopoll doesn't yet support IPv6.

    Hello Paul,

    Is ipv6.agency.bbs.geek.nz:24556 a IPv6 only connection? I ask because

Yes, I set that up on the advice of Ricsi some time back.. agency.bbs.geek.nz will handle both but you can force things from your end by choosing the ipv4
or ipv6 prefix in the dns record :)

ipv4.agency.bbs.geek.nz. It looks to be a BBBS issue as I have BinkD installed alongside BBBS on a different port and BinkD seems to connect to ipv6.agency.bbs.geek.nz fine:

    I agree Jeff.

    Best, Paul
