I saw some activity in the #lobby this morning on MRC. GngrDr3dM4n and Michael2 where chatting. I tried typing in a few lines but they never
showed up in the chat window. Looks like they where not being
transmitted. Anyone have a clue as to why?

What version are you running? It sounds like it might be the wrong version if it says "Mystic Relay Chat", if it says "Multi Relay Chat" then you might
have more luck, as MRC (Mystic Relay Chat) was the first iteration of it created by Gryphon and StackFault revamped it and I don't think the Mystic Relay Chat version works anymore with it.

The latest version is 1.2.9a and is available on my BBS and others.

If you have this version already, I will be happy to have a look and see if I can help fix it for you, but if you're running an older version, especially
if it's Mystic Relay Chat v1.11 or older, then definitely upgrade to the
latest version first and give it another go.

Sort of glad to hear that I'm not the only one having a problem. I'm running version 1.1 that aI found in my files directory.

Yeah,

I am now looking for version 1.2.9a as MeaTLotion wrote.
I've found only v1.1 (I was using v1.0).

I've got it available here at Castle Rock. The filename is 'pn_mrc129a.zip' without the quotes. :)

You're welcome.

Always want to run the current version, as you may not have all the functionality that's available. :)

Hi,

So like I wrote earlier, all is ok. Cron job works, BBS chat is enabled
just one more problem...

All messages I/others write in the chat appear doubled.
What would be the workaround for this?
