• Myster Server Configuration request

I've got configuration request if it is something that can be
    coded/configured.

On a number of retro systems, there are various BBS hardware packages out
there with various ways to connect now to BBS's. Telnet access is obviously new to some of them, and terminal emulation software has to deal with it.

With a modem such as WiModem232, there are AT commands that can be sent to
the modem to turn off the IAC bytes in the data stream. I have hardware that is using a Raspberry PI Wifi interface that is passing the data to some terminal emulation software.

There is not an issue with typical menus and reading messages. The issue
comes into play with file transfers where I have to filter and reprocess the data stream. If there was someway where I did not have to deal with this,
    this would making coding simpler.

Two thoughts. One option, a configuration option that turns off IAC
processing in file transfers. Second option, add file transfer option(s) minimally for Xmodem and Xmodem1K where IAC coding is filtered.

    Thoughts?
