    Thoughts on a good upload processor for Mystic? A good processor would:

    1) Virus Scan
    2) Remove specific extensions (.nfo)
    3) FILE_ID.DIZ verification
    4) Refresh archive
    5) Log activity and perhaps post to email

    Wishful thinking?

    Here is a great one written in Python that places nicely with Mystic and
    covers most of what you are looking for.

    there used to be on for dos LONG time ago that would scan and show you what
    was going on with flashing green ansi character and if it was bad a red. was
    a 3 letter one. used it with mcaffee dos. for today? not sure.

    As a software author, I have a problem with 2 and 4. BBS's should never be modifying archives especially if there is a CRC to ensure that the archive is "authentic". The .nfo file may be an actual file related to the program.

    I'm not quite sure what benefit refreshing an archive would do. I have files on my BBS for download dating back to 1987 and they test fine.
