I'm taking over as NC on another network. Back in the day I used an old MakeNL replacement but that program is long outdated and doesn't recognize most of
the flags used today. What are RCs and NCs using to generate their segments today? Truth is, I'm half expecting to hear 'notepad' ;)

    Thanks!

I'm an RC in fidonet and maintain a net in AmigaNet. Makenl is still being developed and nothing really beats it once you get it setup properly.

If you need a hand in getting it going, I will be more than glad to help you out.

I use MakeNL here for the nodelist segments that I take care of. Once it's
set up, it keeps running like a Swiss... car... ;)

Groovy! I just popped over to sourceforge and grabbed 3.5.0! I had no idea it was still being supported and dangit, its just easier to post a quick
question here than it is to research and find what works and doesnt. I did
use MakeNL in the 90s before switching to something different (recommended by a friend).

I'll look it over and Netmail when I get stuck! ;)

    Thanks Netsurge!!!

Yeah, Thanks Panther! Netsurge suggested MakeNL as well. I used it years
ago so it should be no problem getting it running today!

    Thanks!!!

Notepad to edit the raw data, MakeNL to generate the nodelist for distribution.
My case is simple. As my net is very small, I manage the nodelist by myself. MaleNL is way overkill, but convenient and does the job. And today, it's available for all major platforms.
