• Hub 4 Mystic not tossing netmail

    From Black Panther@21:1/186 to All on Sunday, May 19, 2019 13:40:15
    Hi All,

    Has anyone noticed any issues with netmail not tossing properly in Mystic?

    Right now, I've got 6 packets in the inbound of the fsxNet hub 4 system.
    Mutil is logging that each of the packets "does not match an AKA (21:1/101)"
    or whatever AKA for that packet.

    In mystic -cfg, I have it set to Route everything to 21:1/100 that is
    "21:1/*", so these packets should be getting routed to the Net 1 Hub...

    This also follows the issues recently when Frank was trying to send netmails through the hub, unsuccessfully.

    I'm just wondering if there might be an issue with Mystics forwarding of netmails...

    Paul, I'll forward these packets to 1/100. I'm not sure if they'll toss on
    your system or not...

    I don't know if this helps, but on one of the nodes connected to tqwNet it wouldn't route mail unless the HUB end had "Hide AKA's" set to true. Might be worth looking at that option on the HUB?

    I'm glad it wasn't just me, lol.

    All kidding aside, I have been testing this problem between my two systems. There is a small issue with packet headers that Zeus on the Amiga has, but it isn't one that look like it should cause the issue that Mystic is facing.

    The way it's looking, is it's an issue when trying to route the netmail to another hub. I'm thinking I'll have to pick g00r00's brain when he surfaces again. :)

    It's not related to any addition your put in the ini for forwarding?
    I know I was having some issues with that.

    I don't think so. I was actually taking a look at that already. Right now,
    here is what I've got in there:

    forward = sysop;Black Panther
    forward = system operator; Black Panther
    forward = AreaLink;AreaFix
    forward = AreaMgr;AreaFix
    forward = EchoMgr;AreaFix
    forward = allfix;Filefix
    forward = dan ricter;Black Panther
    forward = Dan Richter;Black Panther

    What I may try doing, is commenting all of those, and trying again. That way
    we know forwarding isn't the problem...

    Based on what you have quoted I'd say this is not an issue.

    When did you send it? I can check the logs here to make sure it got sent over to Paul's system.

    thank You! Having one more issue with dove-net which may be them but that was why I sent a netmail to Digital Man. Have not received any echo's from
    dove-net since after you looked at my system Im sure is not related just a coincidental. But I have not seen any changes in password of user name it connects and says Authentication Failed. I connect with ftp dove.synchro.net worked for along time but not working now so I have been to Vert's website
    and left a message so we will see what happens thanks again.

    I'd made no changes to that stuff (from memory) so yep, I'd check in with
    your dove-net feed to check settings for that one Sam. Sing out if you need
    any further help or support.
