    So I couldn't figure out why my events were not being executed. I've been running mis2.exe and not mis.exe. Apparently mis2.exe doesn't start the
    event system I guess? It seems to be working now that I'm running mis.exe instead of mis2.

    Correct, MIS2 does not offer events system, you need to have MIS for that :)

    You need MIS to process events. However, you can run both MIS and MIS2 together (I do).. You just have to make sure that both aren't trying to listen on the same port. I use MIS2 for telnet, rlogin, SSH and binkp, and have telnet and binkp turned off in MIS. The main reason for me is that MIS2 supports IPv6, MIS doesn't.

    Good to know. For now I'm just running MIS and running telnet, binkp and the events. Do people actually use ssh and rlogin? Is it worth having them open or will it just create more activity from the port hackers?

    Events for now are only in MIS not MIS2 so your findings are correct. :P

    Hi G00r00,

    When we're ready to upgrade to A36, how are Events going to be transferred to the new MIS? Should I write them down 1st? {chuckle}
