    That's what I'm beginning to suspect after fighting with it all weekend with
    no change. Did the full recompile or python 2.7.15 and all added environment variables for PYTHON and no change at all. It may be a Pi thing, I take it your using an x86 based system now rather than the Pi you had a few years
    back?

    I do run Cyberia on a x86 AWS EC2 instance, but I also have a test site at madmanbbs.zapto.org that is running on an ODROID using the RPi version of Mystic. I can't get MPY's running on that ODROID site so yeah, I'm still
    having a problem with python on a Pi.

    Yup, that's what I've seen. It doesn't work on ARM (Pi), but is likely to
    still work on x86 (Windows) versions from Windows7 on (Vista can't handle the extra libraries needed as in the visual runtime).
