I found an error (missing Hot Key timer) in that last Keepalive en

the keepalive (above) to 60 seconds so it will refresh the clock in
my menus. Most of my menus have the date & time in them s
o the keepalive refreshes that every minute. That will con
tinue till the Inactivity timeoutfrom the General Settings i
s reached then it will put up a timeout messageand an OK pro
mpt to continue. The only other way out is to 'hangup' using
generally the Alt-X hang up command from the terminal software if the menu
is hung. Otherwise the menu is active and you can do whatev
er till the Inactivity timeout is reached. Due to constant
attacks on the BBS portsyou want some type of timeout or yo
ur connections will fill up and no one will be able to get
in. g00r00's ghost node software will kill most hangs in
time after the timeout is reached (can also be done manually).
