    In SynchroNet there is an option to use different menu's per your choice, Wildcat, Renegade etc.. Is there a way to do something like that with Mystic? Maybe using a Theme setup or something?? Any ideas??

    Yep, that's the way you would do that in Mystic. g00r00 has been working on a new theme setup so there may be more changes in the works but you can do that now.

    Yep that's it you can create a theme and have different menus associated with it, the user can then choose that from an option at login or change to the
    new theme when they edit their user details and choose 'Language' which
    really should be renamed 'Theme' :)

    Thanks, I look forward to it, but I have pretty much already implemented my Menu theme's.. A few cosmetic changes to the Account settings menu and a few new folders and bang I have the beginning of completely different looking BBS in the works and all I need to do to get back is choose the default theme and my Trusted Mystic BBS is back.. Is there anything we can't do with this software?

    True, it is not easy, but I'm having a ball setting it up like I want it.. :)

    Cool. I will wait for that one.. LOL The C64 Image BBS I am doing is coming
    out pretty good so far.. Still have to do the Message Base and File
    Libraries, but the main prompt, Email. News Files (Bulletins), Doors, and
    Text Files are just about done.. I want to do a C-Net Amiga Theme also, once
    I am finished with this one I will start that one...

    One thing you can do is run more that one menu stile and let mystic rotate through them , so lets say you make 4 main menus , name them mainhdr.ans, mainhdr.an1, mainhdr.an2, mainhdr.an3 ect . mystic will cycle each main menu . it just wont be user defined . I like this better then themes .

    Actually, that is my plan for my other .ans screens. What I am doing is
    setting up different themes for different BBS styles. Like SynchroNet does, Right now I am working on the Commodore 64 BBS program Image BBS I have the main prompt done (all of the options) and some of the sub-systems. I am also changing how the BBS acts from when you enter your password, everything will mimic the Image BBS. When done with Image I am going to work on a C-Net Amiga clone.

    It's a lot of work and I know G00r00 is working on an update to the Themes
    and it will probably break what I am doing and make it better, but I am enjoying it and it works pretty well..

    Thanks bud, already started working on a theme, a lot more to go but it is coming out nice so far.. Just have a few issues which I will post about 1 of them asking for help. Hopefully, when a44 comes out this won't be an issue
    with what I am doing..

    I currently have three themes, selectable at login -- the default Mystic
    theme, my default theme, and a plain-text version of my default theme so I
    can dial in from my CP/M systems.

    I'm think about putting together a small-form-factor theme for mobile
    devices. Shouldn't take more than a couple of hours.
