• Dupe IP

    From Avon@21:1/101 to g00r00 on Friday, December 28, 2018 16:46:32
In the BinkP server... can you remind me where the duplicate IP is set?

    + 2018.12.28 15:44:57 BINKP 2-HostName 184-155-113-241.cpe.cableone.net
+ 2018.12.28 15:44:57 BINKP 2-Country United States of America (US)
    + 2018.12.28 15:44:57 BINKP 2-Refused (Duplicate IP)

I can see it for the Telnet server but am at a loss to find it for BinkP

    Thanks :)

I noticed that earlier, when we were testing the SSL/TLS connections. I
noticed it after a disconnected session, and was thinking it was an issue related to that. It only seemed to be your IP that was doing it, so made the assumptions from there...

Let's see if A42 fixes the issues. :)

I disabled the SSL on the Binkp process here and am no longer getting the duplicate IP issue here. It looks like when the SSL Connection fails it
keeps the session locked and doesn't free things up causeing followon connections to fail with a duplicate IP error.

Yeah good call. Until g00r00 sends an update out we may just disable it at
    all HUBs methinks.

Yes, when it fails it takes a while for it to time out. So if you keep
trying to connect over and over you're just going to get the Dupe IP until it times out.

Yep good idea. I think the SSL for BinkP Server is experimental and better to leave it off for now.
