I'm looking for the tasks that mis and such create. I know nodespy seems to make a mystic task sometimes with sh shells under it or related to it. I was looking for how it's spawning the servers and such so I can figure out what creates that run away task that takes the system down after a while. A39 is very good and can run for months to days, but in time I often get a slowing
of all tasks and a hang. Reboot always clears it all and the shells are so
slow it's hard to do anything to track it down. I'm just looking for ways to start looking for what causes the issue. I don't really want to trace mis for weeks to find it, but that's the only thing I know that can do it. I haven't found the trigger yet - I just know something, likely something I do in a shell, seems to trigger a memory leak that hangs everything within 24 hrs.
I rarely see a zombie task and I know that's not it or causing this. I generally use Linux, but also on weekends run Windows10 for a while, on the system that is AlphaTest (Linux) or BetaTest (Windows10). Due to rebooting between them it's rare I get that system to hang, but I do trigger the
problem from time to time and see it starting to cause issues before I reboot in to the other OS. Trying to figure out what I'm doing to cause it, when
left alone it mostly runs without issues, it's something I sometimes do with other shells or something.
