I have a couple of quick questions

1 how can one select a different "theme"

2 somehow, I accidently changed my settings so I can only logon locally, everytime I enter my username from my tablet or phone, or even
./mystic -l it just comes right back .. but if I log in via ./mystic -u that works??
I can login via syncterm (Rlogin & SSH)
    so what did I do??

    Thanks,
    Michael2

mystic -cfg -> editors -> theme/prompt editor -> there you can insert a new theme. you can then create a second theme and add new ansi, edit a new prompt file etc.

I did that, but am not sure what would be the right way to "select" that
theme, would a simple "go" change the "theme"

    Hello Mike

This little bit may help, download Avon's BBS starter that is already setup and then zipped again. throw in on a stick or spare computer or even another folder name. Then look over how he did it in mystic cfg pretty much
straight forward his if a older version so default.txt wont be the same but again. it will show you the way!

it should be available at login and you can add in account a command to let them change it while on

I actually got something to work, the one thing I had to do was incorporate
the theme name into the filename locatations ie ./mmenu/main, and change all references to point to the new location, it seems to work, eventually I plan
on creating a 40 column menu too.

Nice work, still you should look over Avon's setup to get a full idea on using other themes.. Their is also one theme I believe on his BBS that is all asci may also help....

    Two small cents....

I have a couple of quick questions

1 how can one select a different "theme"

From your main menu choose the menu option to load the 'account' menu

Then use option K to change the Language.... which is actually the active theme... I know it's a bit nutty eh?

Another option if not logged in

Mystic -cfg >> editor >> user editor >> select a user >> page down key >> on the 'settings 1' menu find the 'theme' field and update this :)

    Best, Paul
