• Issue reading messages to Sysop

    Folks -

    I get the following area when i test out messages to sysop as i log of
    Mystic. Can anyone tell me where to look?

    You don't have access to read in this base!

    hmmm do you have in the mystic config the sysop name set? i notice in a39 it does not work on a fresh install.

    ./mystic -cfg
    Configuration, G General Settings, change Sysop Name and Password to the ones you are using on the BBS. Also 'Feedback To' and put your handle there too. That should do it ;)

    hmmmm there was a way you could could fix index numbers for users and message but that option is gone. make sure your in that same menu it has send
    feedback to your sysop name.. try packing your message bases perhaps that may help

    Other things that come to my mind:

    What is your Security level and what is the level required reading email ?
    Are you at position 1 as a SysOp in userbase?
    In the menu option I have this as data: /to:sysop
    Capitals?
