    Hey all,

I'm trying to get rid of a bbs from my bbslist.bbi that a troublesome user added. I've tried deleting it using both the built in mystic bbs list script and the gy-blam script. The bbs seems to just get flagged for deletion but doesn't actually get deleted. How do I get rid of it?

If I remeber right, that is one of the things we used mbbsutil for. That has been removed now and if there is no option in the current mutil to do that, you may need to configure up an older release, like 1.11 maybe and use the mbbsutil in there to mainatin your bbslist.bbi.

    Ttyl :-),

I'll check out one of the older releases and see. Thanks for the suggestion.

I just learned the hard way myself that this feature isn't implemented yet in A39, we are going to have to wait for an update for it to pack the bbslist.

What I ended up doing was installing an older version of mystic, a33 I think, and then copy my bbslist.bbi over and run the pack and then copy bbslist.bbi back over. Worked like a charm.

You could also use a HEX editor and copy paste the parts of the file, that are useful and exclude the record of the one, you want to delete :)
