Is there a way to turn off autosigs while you are composing a message. Let's say I want autosigs on everything except when i'm composing a
message to area/filefix and usenet, is there a magic / switch to turn it
off?

In the message base editor in mystic -cfg. If you look at the message area, there is an option on the right side of the screen called 'Autosigs'. If
that's set to 'no', it won't add the autosig. I have all of my usenet areas
set that way.

As far as area/filefix, I don't think there is a way to specifically turn
those off. What I did, is add the --- to the top of my sig file. This tells
the area/filefix, that this is the tearline, ignore anything below this. It's worked so far. :)

As far as area/filefix, I don't think there is a way to specifically turn those off. What I did, is add the --- to the top of my sig file. This tells the area/filefix, that this is the tearline, ignore anything below this. It's worked so far. :)

What I do is leave it off for my netmail base. There is a setting in each message base to allow signatures (or not) so by having it off for all netmail it solves the issue for me

I have signatures enabled for netmail so when talking to Area/Filefix I just add a tearline before I save the message.

in your message base editor autosig is a on or off toggle.
