    Hello!

    I just discovered this place:

"There is an OldUse.net service that has articles posted with a 20 or 25
    or 30 year latency."

It is a CLI junkie's dream. LOL

They started a few years back, posting some of the first usenet
messages, in as you mentioned, chronological order. Interesting
little bit of history - I wish I had that level of backups for the
    BBS networks I've been on!

I'm at least a year ahead of you...it's my DSL service here in Oregon which will give them a run for their money. ;D

That dog has been around a long time. I think I've seen newer versions of
him holding a USB now? Was there ever a version of him holding a 3.5" disk?

I've never seen another variation. The current newsletter still uses the above.

I've always had a fondness for the image used here:

Maybe Fido could use a borg treatment like that! <G>

    LOL - That's awesome. "Resistance is mew-tile".

I found the USB one I was thinking about in The Fido Gazette. The same pooch just carrying a slightly different square:

HEY.. I completely missed noticing that!

There's more room to update this pooch, however. And.. maybe a 'zine that
is actually readable for the masses. LOL
