I hear the weather is getting pretty bad in Ontario right now.
Heavy snow over there. Scary stuff. :-(
Ok, out of interest, I'll be interested to see if http://tlp.zapto.org/melbourne/test.shtml

It does! ...deon
If that does, then http://tlp.zapto.org/melbourne might be functional too

This one is now working this morning when I tested on my main
machine. It also is now working on my laptop running 386-raspberry (Buster). It's a old llaptop, that struggles with heavey distro's.
Even lubunto was a bit much.,

What's the laptop? Maybe its worth trying an older distro? Might
open up a can of worms all of its own though. Ponder... not sure
how it'd go with kernel but how about something like eeebuntu? It
might work, it has to cope with Celeron-D's and ATOMs
a Asus AMD E2, 1.2Ghz dual core, 8gb ram and a 120Gb SSD..
The thing is like a snale when booted to win10. #-(
That is a difficult enviroment for grass to enjoy without water for
sure. We tend to reach averages like that late July through August ..
I'm still suprised how humid it is here in Indiana, compared to the dry heat I'm used to out west in Colorado, Utah, Arizona, etc... 85 degrees with a high dew point is unbearable. That is when we usually see grass
go dormant. I do have an irrigtaion system however my wife usually
starts bickering by the time the water bill shows up in July from June.
That's one thing I love about New Mexico. We get some nice heat, without the humidity. Lately, we've been in the 85-95F (29-35C) range. Although
we have had some humidity with it. It's about 20%, which is high for us. We're typically in low single digits for humidity.
I've been to New Mexico almost 100 times, it's one of my favorite
places! The food ... I so miss true hatch chili .. mexican food out here is like pizza sauce poured over a burrito. I've bought a lot books to master the recipie of NW style Green Chili, and i'ts pretty good;
however I have to buy the Hatch chilis online and have them shipped. I
However the jarred ones are OK. The baloon festival is a site to see, as are the monsoons!
I do know that 505 does sell them online. I'd have to look up the website... (www.505southwestern.com) It's amazing, as I don't eat *that* much green chile, but if I'm traveling somewhere that doesn't have it available, I'm craving it. :)
I used to love Balloon Fiesta, until I had to deal with all the
traffic... From work, I can just look out the doors and watch the balloons. Amazing sight to see.
I love 505, by bar the bests in a jar I've found. I did not like the brand ZIA, they were not sicy enough despite "HOT" being labled on the
jar. My favorite resaurants there were El Patio and Sadies, El Pinto
was pretty good too but not a quick stop to grab a bite to eat. I'm assuming they are still around but that better restaurants have surfaced over the last 15+ years. NM was part of my region, when we had stores
out there, and I went there once to twice a month. As the plane would begin decending, my mouth would water.
