    Hello!

That looks fine here in this place. When I look at this message in golded I see
small squares instead of the line drawing characters.

Golded always worked well for me when the language was set to en_CA but now that the language is set to en_CA.UTF-8 I don't see them as expected anymore. I
don't see UTF-8 as expected either. The only solution is to use a UTF-8 capable
external editor to view messages encoded with UTF-8.

Little squares? Darn. The original messages looks fine on the Synchronet web-based thingy that some sysops use.

UTF-8 applied globally in this hobby would probably solve this problem
    once and for all.

BUT, can you please show me the header info with the kludges?

    Thanks.

Yes, that's what I usually see, or question marks.

BUT, can you please show me the header info with the kludges?

    OK, it's included here.

    Hello Al!

Thank you. It would seem that OXP is changing the chrs kludge from IBM437
to IBMPC when it scans out. :( I am waiting to see if the same
happens with the test messages in micronet.

But the graphics chars in the reply messages back and forth between us are retained nicely.
