One place found 2 headstones for a grave for a mormon couple. Found yard tools...small electronics...BBS grills & stuff people leave outside.

Something I learned was these were left when they foreclosed on the house. Talking to a stone cutter at a cemetery...that these were "preview" stones &
if I wanted to keep them...it would cost me more than a new one to do so.

Even contacted the local mormon bishop's office with printed images. Never heard from them...so we ended up putting them in the dumpster.

Funny thing about rhubarb...saw it the 1st time growing & thought it was
a giant weed. Mowed some of it down with the mower...until my old
roommate told me what it was.

The thought of having a rhubarb patch mowed horrifies me.

Though I'm glad that, once established, rhubarb is extremely hardy. I'm sad that a rhubarb patch is probably not in my immediate future, though.

Though my creativity with the plant is somewhat limited -- pies, compotes or other sauce-like things that wind up on breakfast food, and maybe a quick bread.

Had no idea on what it was or would've never touched it with the mower. Would've gotten a machette or a knife out of the truck & taken it home with
    me.

    Yep...do like a strawberry/rhubarb pie. For that matter...being
Anabaptist...I like any type of pie...especially shoofly.

You actually did it a favor. Rhubarb needs a good "pruning" every once in
a while, and never be let to go to seed (the tall flowery parts should
never be let to go full cycle).

From the size of that leaf...looked like it was supposed to be in a tropical rain forest...rather than Jerome, ID.
