    Hey folks,

I've enabled in FSX_BOT a "test" bot, that will reply to test messages.

To use it, you need to post your message in FSX_BOT to "All", with a subject of
"test" (case shouldnt matter) - but it'll only fire on the single word.

As the message passes through Hub 3, it will reply to it - so you know your message made it out (and at least got to Hub 3).

What's interesting, since it some cases the Mystic Hubs seem to be ignoring some SEEN-BY lines (not sure of the exact scenario) - resulting in the hub getting the message multiple times (via a different path) - so it'll respond each time and show the patPaul, I can enable this in other echos (like this one) if it is useful.

nice. now we need a bot that sends test messages or are humans allowed to post in FSX_BOT? (I'm not sure what the rules for FSX_BOT are)

Paul, I can enable this in other echos (like this one) if it is useful.

I think a test bot in one echo is good enough, all echoes are routed the same. I'm still in favor of a dedicated test echo as these test messages are a lot of
    noise.

Someone replied to my test message in there and I replied back. I suppose the bot area is not meant for chit chat but I have posted there one or twice without a bot.

but no truncation this time :)

fsx_gen has always been a test echo, it was infact the only echo for a long time. I'm more than happy for testing to occur wherever folks wish. But generally speaking it tends to occur here and also in fsx_net and I've seen some testing in fsx_bot too. I don't think we need a dedicated test echo.

    Yep.. true..

OK change of mind, Deon could you focus the test bot replies to the fsx_gen echo only please.

There was - my message was much longer. I went on to show how you get multiple replies from the bot, each because I get the packet to sent to me from each hub
    (indicating SEEN-BY's are being ignored.)

    :)

And yes, thanks! Sounds good Deon.

    Done, enabled in FSX_GEN... :)

I thought *this* was the "general/chat" echo.

I'm for a FSX_TST echo. Skipping the tests in _GEN is a lot of work! ;)

    I second Oli's motion.
