    Hey all.

For those that know me... and know that I've been unemployed for a little
    over a year...

I now have a job driving a truck for the Arizona Prison System delivering
food to the various prison complexes kitchens around Florence AZ.

It's a secure job, essential I guess. So I don't have to worry about a business closing and all of that...

The pay is not too great... But it's Pay, solid Full-Time job.

I hope this Corona Virus thing ends very soon so life can get back to normal for everyone.

Just thought I would share that for those that G.A.D... and for those that don't... thats ok too... <Smile>

Sounds good, but make sure you check under the truck for escapees if I
know anything from watching movies, it's that clinging onto the
underneath of a delivery truck is the sure fire way to escape jail.

Good to hear from you, hope everything else is going ok.

Well done on the job. :) And yes, secure, essential service work is a good thing these days.

I hope this Corona Virus thing ends very soon so life can get back to normal for everyone.

Don't hold your breath on that. Even here, where there's early signs that we're getting on top of the spread, the authorities are saying expect the status quo for at least 6 months. I think maybe slightly less, but for countries where the virus remains out of control, it could be much longer. And even if we control it here domestically, I would expect quarantine for international travel to be in place for a long time.

State jobs usually aren't great paying, unless you are a contractor or "know someone." But, as you pointed out, they are usually more secure.

If you get one of those with a pension system and can stay with the system long enough, it balances out.

Oh I believe that as a truck driver you have the upper hand. I love collecting pictures of weather anomalies. :D

Provided that the state actually funds the system instead of diverting the funds to pay back a political donor by giving them a big contract to build
your HBE website, or other things of that nature. :(
