Looks like we have our plagued by morons moments too during this Corona ¨excitment. Private hospital company "Healthe Care" don't care and are in the ¨process of laying off 800 staff. Putting some 8000 hospital beds in 34 ¨facilities in question.

Being a private facilities they are primarily funded by elective surgery ¨which have been cancelled for some time now. So like a lot of other ¨businesses they're having a cash flow trickle crisis.

Talks are underway about having the governments funding the beds for Corona ¨patients.

Meanwhile we have crazy people flocking to the beach again, in our fab ¨weather. Resulting in beach closures again. And just in case you were out ¨looking for stress relief they've fined a Brothel for being open.

Yeah, surely the state government closing the city beaches and the Premier telling everyone not to go to the beach wasn't good enough? They will be the reason we have to endure weeks of a full lockdown, because people are too stupid and/or selfish to make the necessary sacrifices we all have to make.

As for the brothel, the hand is a much safer option (providing you wash before and after! ;) ).

than $1.00 US. Most people don't understand the odds are better on th bigger the denomination you use. On the other hand...want to waste
All I did on one of those was blow $10 when I was in Vegas. :P I'm not one for gambling, but it did feel rather odd not doing it in Vegas - as they say - "When in Rome...". ;)

Just remember 1 thing about casinos. The lights are kept on by the losers. There was a reason why the mafia used an old mormon settlement to establish their businesses at. The reason was they knew most of these folks wouldn't steal from them/they were honest...unlike themselves. Usually they knew the workers wouldn't hang around the casinos after their shifts or on their days off. This is the same reason why the US government uses them for intelligence work & such as this.

The most I won in Vegas was at the airport lol. There was thunder and lightning outside, and we just got off our plane, but they couldn't
pull the luggage until the storm cleared, so we all had like an extra
hour in the airport. I hit like a $900 jackpot at a slot machine.

Making the slot machines lose a few more in jackpots to would be flippin' genius. Pay out a little on the jetway, get the gamblers all fired up, then fleece'm in the casinos.

Turns out there's a /ton/ of regulation about things like slot machines, and
if anyone is found to be noncompliant, it's bad news.

Entertainment - hmm, I find it dull as dishwater, but then again, I doubt you'd agree with the things I do for fun either. ;) Got a couple of virtual races to run today, though I would have preferred to have been in final preparation for nationals, but COVID-19 kinda derailed everything. 30 years ago...used to catch an old person's junket from Kingman, AZ to Laughlin, NV for $2.00 & spend the day. Got to the point a couple of times a month I could make enough to eat at a buffet & take in a movie at the cinema
in one of the casinos. $10-15 would go further those days.
